CodeMaster is a mobile environment for browsing servers, editing source files and checking server health from Android. It combines SFTP and FTP connections, a multi-language Monokai editor, local files and server metrics.

SFTP encrypts the connection and, when the server allows SSH commands, enables the full CPU, memory, disk, network and process dashboard. FTP provides remote browsing and editing plus basic availability indicators. We recommend SFTP whenever available.

The host, username, password, key and initial folder remain encrypted on your device. Our servers only retain the minimum account data, connection names, purchases, subscriptions and preferences required to provide the service.

Tap “+ Connection”, choose SFTP or FTP, enter the host, port, username and credentials, then use “Test connection”. You can set an initial folder to open your project directly. Common ports are 22 for SFTP and 21 for FTP.

The editor supports C#, VB, JSON, JavaScript, C, C++, CSS, HTML, Java, Laravel Blade, LaTeX, PHP, Python, R, Ruby, SQL, XML, YAML and Markdown. Unrecognized files open as plain text.

Yes. “Local file” lets you create a document with your own name and extension or open an existing file through Android’s secure document picker. Saving respects the selected location and system permissions.

Use the breadcrumb path, go up one folder or return home, expand levels and pin a folder. A pinned folder keeps its children visible in the same tree so you retain context while editing.

With SFTP and SSH access it shows near-live load, memory, disk, network, process and relevant system-event metrics. With FTP it provides a reduced view based on availability, latency and access to the configured folder. Visible refreshes are silent.

Check the network, host, port, username, password or key, permissions and initial folder. Hosting providers may change SSH policies, block an IP or limit sessions. Use “Test connection” and send us the exact error without sharing your password.

Yes. CodeMaster can export and import settings through a controlled device-to-device exchange. Verify the receiving device and remove any temporary transfer file when finished.

CHC Ideas development apps share the account and sign-in credentials. CodeMaster connections, plans, subscriptions and purchases remain separate and are never mixed with another product.

You may sign in with Google without entering a password. If two-factor authentication is active, CodeMaster requests the second factor. Its issuer is shown as CHC Ideas DEV. Account settings let you manage security and create a password when appropriate.

You can start with up to three connections and use the editor and essential tools. The free version may display non-intrusive ads. Paid plans expand limits and unlock the advanced capabilities listed in the in-app Store.

Sign in with the same CHC Ideas account and Google Play account used for the purchase. Open Store and refresh the status. If Google Play confirms payment but it is missing, send us the order ID—never full card details.

Use “Forgot password” on the sign-in screen. A temporary code is sent to your email. If the account was created only with Google and has no password, continue with Google or contact support for a secure review.
