Information about how CodeMaster handles account data, technical data, and content processed by the application.

Last updated: 14/09/2026
CodeMaster minimizes exposure by keeping sensitive data on your device. Our backend does not store credentials, keys, code, commands, responses, or browsing information.

1. Controller and scope

This policy explains how CHC Ideas handles information related to CodeMaster, its Android app, future desktop versions, and associated services.

Privacy questions: chcideas.support@gmail.com.

2. Information we may process

Account data such as name, email, session identifiers, and authentication mechanisms.

Plan, subscription, purchased product, and identifiers required to validate purchases through Google Play.

Names or aliases, preferences, counters, limits, and other non-sensitive metadata required by app features.

Technical information you voluntarily send to support, including app version, device, operating system, steps, and error messages.

Data specific to CodeMaster

Files, folders, and projects selected through the Android file system are processed on your device to enable editing.

Hosts, users, passwords, tokens, private keys, and remote content used with FTP, SFTP, WebDAV, or Git remain on your device and are used only for the connection you request.

Our backend may retain project or connection names and aliases, preferences, limits, and non-sensitive metadata. It does not store source code or connection credentials.

The free version may display ads through Google AdMob. Depending on your region, consent, and settings, Google may process advertising identifiers, IP address, device data, diagnostics, and ad interactions; we never send your code, files, or connection credentials to AdMob.

4. Purposes

Create and protect your account, maintain sessions, apply plan limits, verify purchases, provide requested features, answer support requests, and fix issues.

We do not use technical content processed by the app to build advertising profiles.

5. Providers and transfers

We may use hosting, email, infrastructure, and Google Play Billing providers when required to operate the service.

We share only the information necessary for that purpose or when required by a valid legal obligation.

6. Security and local storage

We apply reasonable safeguards to account data and communications with our services.

A significant part of the information remains on your device. We recommend encryption, screen lock, biometrics, and suitable backups.

No system is completely infallible; avoid compromised devices and untrusted networks.

7. Retention

We retain account data while needed to provide the service or meet legal, security, fraud-prevention, and purchase-audit obligations.

Local data remains until you remove it in the app, clear app data, or uninstall it, depending on the operating system.

8. Your rights and deletion

You may request access or correction by writing from the email associated with your account.

On the deletion page, you can authenticate, schedule permanent deletion for seven days later, or cancel a pending request before that period expires.

9. Children and changes

CodeMaster is intended for technical users and is not specifically designed for children. If we identify a child's data processed without authorization, we may delete it.

We may update this policy after legal, technical, or functional changes. The current version will be published on this page.
